REGISTER NOW!  A LATE FEE OF $250 STARTS AT 12:01AM ON SEPTEMBER 14!

 

Please complete your registration no later than September 13.  Starting at 12:01am on September 14, all Squirt/10U, Peewee/12U, and Bantam/14U registrations will be charged a $250 late fee (does not apply to Mites or Learn to Play).

Registration will shut down completely on September 21 with the exception of Learn to Play and Mite registrations.

WELCOME TO THE 2020-2021 AAHA PLAYER REGISTRATION!

 

NOTE: If you are registering more than one player, please register your oldest player first! 

This registration session will allow you to provide contact information and sign consents. Please read through each page carefully as you are responsible for understanding the information presented in this registration.  This first page is lengthy, but contains a lot of crucial information, including some changes for the 2020-2021 season.  There will be a COVID-19 FAQ and Waiver later in the registration. 

For Mite, Squirt/10U, Peewee/12U, and Bantam/14U skaters, in order to complete the registration process, you must complete your 2020-2021 USA Hockey registration first (more info below).  You must also pay (at least) the non-refundable registration down payment of $100/skater.  

Scrip balances should be applied during registration.  You will be receiving an email with a code to enter at the check-out screen.  Your scrip credit will be applied to your remaining balance--you will still be required to pay the $100 deposit per skater.  If you do not receive your Scrip code by 8/21/2020, please email AAHA Operations prior to completing your registration! 

 

2020-2021 Fees ($100 INCREASE FROM LAST SEASON  FOR SQUIRT/10U THRU BANTAM/14U TO ENABLE US TO MAINTAIN 3 HOURS OF PRACTICE ICE PER TEAM AND TEAM “CAMP” WEEKENDS AGAIN FOR THIS SEASON ) 

  • U6 Mite: $300 
  • U8 $400       
  • Squirt/10U: $1100.00
  • Peewee/12U: $1200.00 
  • Bantam/14U: $1350 
  • AVALANCHE JERSEYS: New squirt families, new to AAHA families at any level, and any returning families who need replacement jerseys will be required to pay for their new jerseys during this registration.  The cost will be $48 per jersey.  You will also be required to purchase a set of white and black socks prior to your first game (socks are not part of registration)
  • FREEZE JERSEYS: Please contact Jeff Lindemann for Freeze jersey options. 
  • MITE JERSEYS:  New mite families and any returning mite families who need a replacement jersey will be required to purchase a jersey.  Cost is $50 and you will pay for the jersey during registration

 

  • Learn to Play $50 per session (First Session Free). 
    • Session 1 (Fridays 5-6 p.m. Oct 16, Oct 23, Oct 30, Nov 6, Nov 13, Nov 20,  Dec 11, Dec 18) $50
    • Session 2 (Fridays 5-6 p.m. Jan 8 through February 26) $50 Also includes a 30 minute scrimmage during Monsters on Ice Tournament March 14th 

 

**REMINDER - Teams will be responsible for collecting referee fees as part of their individual team fees.  

 

 Payment and Refund Options

All registrations other than Learn to Play will be required to pay a $100 deposit per skater at time of registration (non-refundable with the exception of season cancellation due to COVID-19 prior to November 1, 2020, at which time, prorated refunds may be processed as appropriate).

  • Pay in full online at time of registration (subject to SportsEngine processing fee of 3.5% + $2/transaction)
    • Prorated refund if season is partially cancelled due to COVID-19
  • Pay in full offline by check (still requires $100 online deposit)
    • Must be paid in full by October 15, 2020
    • Prorated refund if season is partially cancelled due to COVID-19
  • Pay remaining balance in 5 monthly installments on the 1st of each month, starting October 1 (each payment subject to SportEngine processing fee of 3.5% + $2/transaction)
    • Offline payments by check are not allowed under the payment plan option
    • Future monthly payments will be cancelled if season is partially cancelled due to COVID-19.  Most recent monthly payment received may receive a prorated refund depending on timing of cancellation.

NOTE: If the payment plan is chosen, monthly payments will automatically be charged to the same credit/debit card used during this registration unless you update payment info in your SportsEngine profile.  Please consider your payment choice carefully.

 

 Fundraising Fee

Each family will be assessed a $150 Fundraising Fee.  If you are registering more than one player, please be sure to register all players in this same registration session to avoid being charged multiple times for this fee.  

In exchange for this Fundraising Fee, you will have the option to receive Calendar Raffle Tickets that you can either keep for yourself to be eligible for raffle drawings or sell to others.  You can also choose to "Buyout" and simply pay the fee without receiving calendars and participating in the raffles.  The fee will be the same  amount either way.  Please choose carefully as this choice is used to determine how many calendars to print.   You will not be able to change your mind once calendars are printed.

If you choose the "Buyout" option, you will need to pay the Fundraising Fee in full at the completion of this registration.  Once again, you will not be eligible for any of the raffle drawings if you choose this option.

If you choose to receive calendars in exchange for the Fundraising Fee, the $150 fee will be collected when you receive your calendars and you will not be charged anything at the completion of this registration.


Parent Meetings

Parent Meeting for Squirt/U10/PeeWee/U12/Bantam/U14 

Due to COVID-19 conditions, no in person parent meeting is planned at this point.  If an online meeting is held, all registrants will be notified.

Mite Parent Meeting

Due to COVID-19 conditions, no in person parent meeting is planned at this point.  If an online meeting is held, all registrants will be notified.

Pre-Season Conditioning

The pre-season conditioning schedule is found on the AAHA website.  Opportunities are available for Mite, Avalanche Squirt thru Bantams, and Freeze players.   Goalies can participate in pre-season for free.

Registration for pre-season conditioning will primarily be done during this registration.   If you plan to register for pre-season, please wait to register until you have a chance to review the pre-season schedules once posted. Payment for pre-season conditioning must be paid in full at the time of registration.  There will be options to register for pre-season after you complete your skater registration, but we ask that as many as possible complete pre-season registration here. After your skater is registered, anyone wanting to add pre-season later will need to be manually added to the list and manually invoiced.


USA Hockey Registration Requirement

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to sign up for the 2020-2021 Season.

  • Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
